Painting done onsite at the LA arboretum in gouache.  I really enjoy painting the lighting, especially when the sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a pattern of shifting shadows on the ground beneath.

Final Project for Expressive type class.  The project was to redesign an album cover but with type as the main thing.  So I chose Savage Garden because they’re one of my favorite bands.

So I finally fleshed out the character.  I’m gonna have to draw the other characters too.

I’ve been super busy lately, with summer classes at school and taking classes outside of school during the weekends.  Its tiring, but I think I can do it.  The weekend classes are actually a lot of fun, but I’m kinda sad its ending soon though :[
